Our “Penguin” program is our learn to skate preschool program for children age 18 months to kindergartners. We have special games and activities that cater to the preschool age. We have the biggest toy box around! Lessons are customized for the physical, mental and emotional capabilities of each age group . We teach our children through play, visual aids and enthusiasm. Each lesson ends with a sticker and a professionally supervised free skate. Come have fun while learning how to skate! In the Penguin Program, you save the $30 registration fee + $5 per class in comparison to the Learn to Skate program. Concord Family Network members will also receive an extra 10% off! Attached is a copy of our next session. This sheet indicates that you are a Concord Family Network Member. Please use this form when registering, so that you will receive an extra 10% off your class fee. All Skaters must bring their own bike helmet, single blade skates, warm clothes and gloves. Due to the young ages that are in our Penguin Program, a special 2 week “trial period” may be requested through the Sharper Edge office. However, the request must be made prior to the session due date. You will be responsible to pay for the 2 “try it” classes. Classes are offered on weekday mornings. However, if a child is unable to attend the Penguin Program hours, he/she is also eligible for our Learn to Skate Program. Sharper Edge Skating School is located on Route 62 in the Valley Sports arena. We have been in existence for 9 years. We began our “Penguin” Program 7 years ago with the idea that every person, no matter how young, should have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful sport of skating. Sharper Edge’s coaching staff is experienced in dealing with children of all ages and abilities. We pride ourselves on the success of our preschool program and our other skating programs.
