Local Family Networks
Run through
Concord Family and Youth Services (CFYS), and funded primarily by the
Massachusetts Department of Education, First Connections is a parenting support
program for families with children birth through age 3. Through support
groups, family consultations, seminars, home visits, playgroups and special
events for parents and children, they provide opportunities for families in
eleven Metro west towns to participate in programs designed to support parents
in the many challenges of raising children. First Connections also helps
fund and support local family networks, including CFN. To learn more
about First Connections and/or get a copy of their quarterly newsletter, call
(978) 287-0221 or visit www.cfys.org/first_connections.htm.
