Welcome to Concord Family Network (CFN)! We're glad you have found us!
CFN is a volunteer-run group of local parents, based in Concord, Massachusetts, working together to unite, inform, and engage Concord families with young children (birth- 6 years). CFN hopes to provide many opportunities for member families to meet, socialize, and have fun with our kids!
Working with the generous support of CFN members (through annual membership dues and donations), Concord Family Network hosts various theme parties and other family events throughout the year. CFN also organizes regular playgroups, mom’s night out events, dad & me events, dad's night out events, a walking group, and has many other groups in the works.

Touch a Tractor
In May, nearly twenty CFN families gathered at Barrett's Mill Farm for CFN's annual Touch a Tractor event! The kids loved climbing all over the four tractors on display, print painting with cut vegetables, and running around the farm to get stamps to complete their scavenger hunts. A huge thank you to Lise and Melissa for hosting us on their farm - can't wait to do it again next spring!
Getting to Know our Community- Police Station
On Friday, May 6, over 15 families gathered at the Concord Police Station for a guided tour. The kids loved checking out the huge computer displays in dispatch, collecting Police Officer trading cards, and climbing all over a police cruiser in the parking lot. Thanks to Chief O'Connor for the warm welcome and a huge thanks to Officer Rob Capone for spending so much time answering our questions and showing us around the station. CFN is looking forward to another visit soon!
Getting to Know our Community-Marshall Farms
A big "thank you" to Ashley at Marshall Farms for hosting CFN on Tuesday morning. We feed the goats and chickens and are now eagerly waiting for our sunflower seeds grow. If you missed us, call-in the next time you drive by, the kids will have a ball and you can pick up some plants or fresh vegetables.
Earth Day Parade!
Thank you to all who joined us at the Earth Day Parade - it was a gorgeous morning to walk together and celebrate. This was our first year marching in the parade and CFN hopes to make it an annual event. Check out pictures on FaceBook and CFN website!
On Sunday, May 22 , ten CFN families dropped in to Grandfather's Workshop at the Emerson Umbrella to hammer, hot glue, color and create! Jim Boyce, instructor, gave our families a quick tutorial on how to use all the tools in his shop, and then let the kids roam free, digging through boxes of fabric, wood, stickers, buttons, and all kinds of treasures. We built fairy houses, train tunnels, picture frames, airplanes, and more. Thanks to Jim for all his help and guidance. We're looking forward to visiting again soon!
