Sheri and her family moved to Concord from Boston (Jamaica Plain) in June 2017, and previously she and her husband, Jerry, lived in Chicago. They have three children: Jonah (10), Alex (8), and Ellie (3). When moving to the area, Sheri has found Concord Family Network to be a great resource for both meeting new families and making friends, and also learning about Concord, preschools, and local kid activities. Last year Sheri coordinated the Mom's Night In gatherings, and this year she has stepped into the co-chair position. She feels volunteering her time for CFN is a great way to give back to her community during this period that she is staying home with her children. At some point she'll return to education, either in a professional development role or the classroom teaching English. In her free time, Sheri enjoys running, biking, barre, gardening, traveling, and listening to podcasts and audible books.
Amanda and her husband Tom have been living in Concord since 2013. Both from surrounding towns, they knew that this was the perfect place for them to live and raise a family. Their son Tommy was born in 2014 and two years later, his sister Teagan joined the Matthews clan. Amanda teaches high school Spanish at Acton-Boxborough and has recently decided to take some time off to stay at home with the kids. Amanda joined CFNright after Tommy was born to meet other young families in town and has really enjoyed the community feel of the network. Amanda and her family are always walking around town - they are regulars at Main Street on the weekends for breakfast sandwiches - and enjoy spending time outdoors at all the area playgrounds. When she's not chasing Tommy and Teagan around, Amanda also enjoys cooking for her family, gardening and DIY projects.
KC and her family moved to Concord from Charlestown in June 2017.
KC is originally from New Hampshire and her husband Steve is from Ohio. After visiting and learning about many of the Boston suburbs, both were drawn to Concord with the vibrant town centers, beautiful conservation land, and rich history. After a weekend visit in the middle of winter snowstorm and dinner at a delicious local restaurant, they had decided that Concord was the right place to call home. They have two children, Elise (born April 2013) and Alexander (born November 2014). Elise and Alex love having all the space to run around but also appreciate being able to walk (or scoot) to the local pizza shop and Bedford Farms Ice Cream! KC works part-time as a Finance Director for a national human services company and joined CFN soon after moving to Concord to meet other families and to involve her family in the many activities the CFN has to offer.

Jesse, her husband Matus and daughter Stella moved to Concord in May of 2015. Shortly after the move, Max joined the family. While initially nervous about moving out of Cambridge, they have loved taking advantage of all that Concord has to offer. Stella and Max both attend Little Sprouts Daycare three days a week while Jesse is working as a primary-care doctor and Geriatrician in Boston. The rest of the week they are involved in many of the activities that CFN organizes. In addition, they love picking fresh veggies at Barrett’s Mill Farm, vising the animals at Drumlin Farm, swimming at Walden Pond, and exploring the parks, playgrounds and restaurants around Concord. Jesse is excited to be organizing the MNO events and is looking forward to meeting other Concord area Moms.
