Cecilia moved to Concord in 2013 with her husband Tony and their then 2 year old daughter Róisín. In July 2014 they welcomed their second little girl, Clodagh, into their family. In 2007 Cecilia and Tony left Ireland and since this time they have lived in Miami FL, Shanghai China, and now Concord MA but still return home to Ireland regularly to see family and friends. Cecilia graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 1999 with a BSc in microbiology and then obtained her MSc in environmental science from Queens University in Belfast. Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, she worked in the environmental section of local government offices in both Ireland and Miami Dade, Florida. She and her family love the outdoors and can often be found at Walden pond or the local playgrounds. At weekends they like to explore New England’s beaches and national parks.
Annie Kim Adler
Annie, her husband Desmond, and 3 year old son Bryan, moved to Concord in 2012 and promptly joined the CFN in hopes of meeting other Concord families. Even though they moved to Bedford at the end of 2013, her heart still belongs in Concord! She grew up in Vancouver, Canada where she met her husband and together decided to move to Boston “for just 3 years” so he could complete his doctorate. 8 years and a baby later, they are still happily here in MA.
Annie worked in Finance prior to becoming a stay at home mom and recently finished her MBA at Suffolk University. While she loves baking, cooking, and reading, her true passion is playing Ultimate Frisbee and has a drawer full of team jerseys to prove it! She looks forward to meeting more Concord families and taking her son to future CFN events.
Fire Truck Wash
Charlotte has lived in Concord since 2012 with her husband Jon, son Graham (born 2012) and now new addition Elise (born 2015) She quickly felt at home since Jon grew up in town and they had already spent a lot of time in Concord visiting with his family, enjoying walks around conservation land and biking around the country roads. Charlotte joined CFN soon after she moved to town in order to meet more families, and looks forward to promoting CFN events in her role as Publicity Chair as well as making more local friends. She is a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist and works part time as a school nutrition consultant working to improve the quality of school meals. Meanwhile at home, Graham is putting Charlotte's nutrition theories and culinary skills to the test as he marches to his own drum and is a very independent preschooler. When Charlotte isn't chasing after Graham, Elise or her dog Black Jack, Charlotte enjoys cooking, gardening, yoga and running.

Julie and her husband, Dave, moved to Concord in July 2011. After welcoming their daughter, Riley, in March 2013, Julie joined CFN to involve herself in the community and to meet more families. Julie grew up in North Carolina and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. After living in NYC, Julie moved to Boston and completed Boston University's dual masters program in social work and education. Lauren and her family moved from the North End to Concord in 2014 so there could be more room to run around, which they now spend plenty of time doing! Lauren is a licensed clinical psychologist and owns Concord Therapy LLC, providing counseling to women and their partners on fertility and family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum health, and work-life balance. Lauren is passionate about women’s health and has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of perinatal mental health, gender identity, countertransference, and suicide prevention. Lauren loves to be involved in community building and is energized by networking with other moms and families who have ideas to share or are in need of support. Moms' Night In Coordinator
Betsy was born and raised in California. She has a background working with children and adults with special needs. Betsy moved to New England with her husband in January 2010 and her daughter was born 3 weeks later. After a brief time in Rhode Island and the birth of her son, her family has settled in the West Concord area. She is excited to be a part of a group that supports families and invests in the community that she loves so much. Her special interests are anything artistic and crafty (especially if it involves re-purposing something that would other wise end up in a landfill), and learning about and caring for our natural environment.
Weekend Event Coordinator
Kelly, her husband Peter and daughter Alexandra (born 2012) moved to Concord in August 2014. After living in a small condo in Watertown for 6 years, they wanted to find a home with more space for their active toddler (and 2 large cats) in a family oriented community. Kelly learned of CFN after attending a Creature Teacher event and joined up in hopes of meeting other Concord families with young kids and making new local friends. Originally from Connecticut, she spent 8 years in Maine and 1 year in San Francisco before settling in the Boston area. Kelly has been working as a Nurse Practitioner for 12 years and currently works full time at Mount Auburn Hospital in Occupational Health. In their free time (ha!), Kelly and her family enjoy walks down to Great Meadows Wildlife Refuge, baking cookies, family cookouts and trips to Cape Cod. Finding a balance between work life and family life can be challenging and Kelly hopes to help coordinate more weekend CFN events.

Valentine's Day Party
Kathryn re-discovered Concord two years ago with her husband of ten years, Brian, and their three-year-old son, Joseph, who attends Concord Integrated Preschool. They were thrilled to have finally found a town that has culture, nature and loads of family events while still being near the city. Born and raised in Boston, Kathryn graduated summa cum laude from UMass-Boston, where she studied English, World Religions and Classical Studies. Post-college, she lived in Arizona, Connecticut and Greece. Kathryn has written several novels, owned a bookstore, and worked in public relations for area universities. If she's not exploring Concord's trails or baking gluten-free treats for her family, Kathryn is a Sales Associate with Coldwell Banker here in town. She is also a member of Emerson Hospital’s Patient and Family Advisory Council and is a liaison to the VP of Quality and Safety at Franciscan Hospital for Children, where she is also a member of the Family Advisory Council and MOLST Task Force. She joined Concord Family Network in 2014 and is thrilled to be the Playground Meetup Coordinator!

Halloween Party, Popsicle Party
Heather is a born and raised West Concord girl. After a ten year hiatus, mostly spent on the West Coast, she is back home. This time she has returned with her husband Aaron, their two sons, Sam (born in 2011) and Zac (born in 2013). While much in Concord has changed since her own childhood, it fills her with joy to take her boys to her favorite old haunts such as Rideout playground, and the North Bridge. She has even had the pleasure of sending her sons to the same preschool that she went to: Concord Carousel. As Dorothy would say, "there's no place like home!" Heather is both a birth doula and postpartum doula, and clearly loves all things babies!
Board meetings and overall functions
Katie and her husband Pete moved to Concord back in 2007. Pete, a Carlisle native and CCHS grad, had sold Katie on the area—the great town centers, the conservation land and farms, the amazing public schools, and not to mention the charm of it all. They welcomed their daughter Caroline in November 2012, and then their son Peter two years later in November 2014, around the time when Katie decided to leave her job in downtown Boston in financial technology to focus on being a stay-at-home mom. Katie joined CFN to meet other young families in town and quickly became a regular at Winter Playspace, which is where she met several of her good friends to this day. She has also helped plan the New Baby Brunch for the last few years. When she isn't busy getting her daughter to and from preschool, you can find them walking all over West Concord, playing outside in their yard (blowing bubbles in the rain and counting school buses are favorites), and having play dates with their new Concord friends.
New memberships and renewals, Membership inquiries, Jammin’ January
Jordan and her husband, Kevin, have been Concord residents since 2008. Their son, James, was born in 2010 and their daughter, Sadie, joined the clan in 2013. Jordan is a teacher at Concord Carousel Preschool, and draws on her experience in Early Childhood Education to plan entertaining activities for the CFN community. These activities force her to get her kids out of pajamas and out the door on their non-school days! Although it sometimes feels like all the Binders ever do is juggle nap schedules and fold laundry, they always try to squeeze in time for favorite West Concord hot spots- Rideout Park, Reasons To Be Cheerful and the train station! The Binders look forward to many annual CFN events including the Halloween Party and Easter Egg Hunt. When not taking advantage of all that Concord and CFN have to offer, Jordan can be found at the beach on LBI and visiting family in New Jersey.
Erin migrated from the city to the 'burbs in the summer of 2011 with her then-18 month old daughter Zoe, who was thrilled to finally have her own backyard. Little brother William joined the family in March 2013, almost exactly 3 years after his sister. Originally from rural Maine, Erin loves that her kids will grow up in the best of all worlds -- access to city museums, Concord's woods and streams, and a gaggle of neighborhood kids. Erin's main focus is being a full-time mom. When she isn't hosting dance parties in the kitchen or doing laundry, she works as a freelance editor and is a certified ESL teacher. Erin is excited to be part of the CFN board to give young families places to meet and ways to connect with others!
Meghan & her husband Peter moved to Concord two years ago with their daughter Alexis. Conor joined the family 6 months later and they are now 4.5 and 1.5 and the best of friends! While Meghan & her family landed in Concord by chance, they are thrilled to be here! They especially love being able to walk to Rideout Park and all the great shops in West Concord Center. Meghan has enjoyed getting to know other Concord families through CFN and she is excited to be taking on a more active role by organizing the Walking Group. Meghan was a school social worker before Conor joined the family and she decided to stay home full-time. She recently rejoined the work force part-time as a Child Care Consultant for Cultural Care Au Pair. In her "spare time" (haha) Meghan enjoys reading, doing pilates & she is trying to embrace life in the suburbs by getting into gardening!
Moms' Night Out Coordinator
Nina and her husband Jason moved from Arlington to Concord in the Fall of 2014 and have been loving it! Their son Evan, now almost 2, has enjoyed the open spaces and surplus of kid friendly activities their new neighborhood has to offer. Nina grew up in Miami, Florida and came to Boston for undergraduate and graduate school, later met Jason (originally from New Hampshire) and has now been a Bostonian for close to 14 years--- though she'll never ever get used to the new england winters! Nina keeps busy by working part-time as an adult nurse practitioner. On her days off, she spends her time chasing her toddler around from activity to activity. Nina joined the Concord Family Network to meet more families and develop a network of friends. She looks forward to coordinating lots of fun moms night outs!
Laura lives in Concord with her husband Sam and their two young sons. Since moving from Cambridge in the spring of 2015, they have enjoyed so much about Concord – from walks to Marshall Farm, swimming at White Pond, and frequent trips to Reasons to be Cheerful. Having grown up in New Hampshire, she appreciates being able to raise her family in an area with such easy access to nature. She is thankful for the community that CFN has created and the new friendships it has fostered for her family. In addition to keeping up with her busy boys, Laura works in professional development for a healthcare consulting firm.
Baby Activities Coordinator
Katie and her husband Eric relocated from Austin, Texas in 2016. Shortly before their move, they discovered life had another big surprise in store! Their son Benjamin became a native Bay Stater in August of 2016. In Texas, Katie worked in the medical device industry creating and delivering technical training curriculum. She made the tough decision to leave a great job to follow her true passion: nutrition. She is currently working on her graduate degree in Food & Nutrition. When she’s not chasing Ben around the house, studying or dreaming of warmer weather, you can find her spending her time exploring all that New England has to offer: its boundless quaint towns, trails, farms and unique culinary experiences.
