Shannon Sweeney
[email protected] Shannon and her husband Tyson moved to West Concord from New Jersey in early 2019. They have two daughters Etta (b. 8/2018) and Nellie (b. 7/2020) who both attend Concord Children's Center and toy poodle, Clementine. Shannon has a background in public health and is a family medicine researcher and project manager working from home part time, employed by Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR. Shannon joined CFN to meet other young families in town and is enjoying the community and the area! She loves living in such a family friendly location and meeting new people. Katherine is a Rhode Island native and grew up in a large family. She and her husband, Matt, have lived in Concord for over four years. They have two boys, Henry (4.5 years) and Andrew (1 years). Katherine teaches History at Lexington High School. She has been involved in CFN for several years, orchestrating our popular Halloween Party (pre-pandemic) and planning and hosting other Mom socials, both in person and virtually. [email protected] Annie and her husband Charles moved to Concord in May of 2018. Annie grew up in Carlisle and always knew she wanted to return to the area to start a family. In 2019, their first child, Grace was born. Annie joined the CFN board as a way to connect with the community and meet other young families in town. She currently works in hospital administration and is co-founder of Goal Girl Finance, which aims to empower women to take control of their finances. Sarah Schulsinger
Sarah is an NYC native who moved to Concord from Bedford in early 2020 amidst the chaos of the pandemic with her husband Sam. They live in Concord with their two kids: Madison (3.5 years) and Braden (11.5 years) who just started middle school, and can’t forget their beloved Golden Retriever, Jake! Sarah has been involved with the CFN for 2 years now, and has worn a few different hats during that time. She enjoys being a stay at home mom and volunteering with the CFN, as well as helping out in other areas of the community. In her free time you can find her trying to improve her golf game. Christina Anderson
Christina is a Southern California native but has lived in the Boston area for 8 years. Christina and her husband James moved to West Concord 4 years ago and have two kids, Oliver (almost 4 years) and Claire (1 year). Christina is a strategy and operations director for an eCommerce tech firm. She has been involved in CFN for the last couple years attending a variety of events and is excited to do more with CFN over the next year. You'll often find Christina and her family at the playgrounds around town or walking through both Concord Center and West Concord Center. |

Grace Giles
Grace and her husband, Patrick, have been living in Concord for five years, with their sons Conrad (5) and Sage (3). Grace is a cognitive scientist with the U.S. Army and lecturer at Tufts University, and Patrick is a teacher at Nashoba Brooks School. Their family loves Concord and can often be found eating ice cream and watching the trains at Bedford Farms, running and biking on Battle Road, and splashing in Walden Pond! Stephanie grew up in the Midwest and moved to Boston in 2014 for her work in the insurance industry. She moved from Charlestown to Concord with her husband, Spike, in 2020. They have two boys, Skip (4 years) and Scott (9 months), who love traveling, visiting museums and nightly dance parties. She loves to give back to her local community and is thrilled to act as the Arts and Crafts Chair forgrew up in the Midwest and moved to Boston in 2014 for her work in the insurance industry. Benjamin has lived in Concord since 2014 with his wife Lauren, and sons Max (born 2015) and Nathan (born 2018). He is a native of the area, having grown up one town over in Acton. Benjamin joined CFN with his family to meet other families and participate in fun events year round. Benjamin is the managing attorney of Klein Law, LLC, located in Concord, MA, which provides legal representation to individuals and businesses in a wide variety of civil litigation areas and business law counseling to startups. Benjamin is frequently spotted around town with his family, such as standing in line for ice cream at Reasons to Be Cheerful or playing with his boys at Rideout Park. Webmaster
Sana Damsgaard
Sana completed her schooling and medical training in Philadelphia. She moved to the Concord area from Pennsylvania with her husband and kids to start work for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. She joined CFN right after moving here at the height of the pandemic and credits this organization for creating a sense of community even during lockdown. She joined CFN to meet other families in town and to join organized activities for kids and their parents. Her family enjoys the many beautiful outdoor hikes, ponds, and parks in Concord accessible all year round. Charlotte Doyle
Charlotte moved to Concord with her husband, Pat, in April of 2018. She is currently a stay-at-home mom to her son Henry (3) and Daughter (1). While Charlotte grew up in the neighboring town of Acton, she has found Concord Family Network to be a great resource for meeting other young families and learning about all the activities the community has to offer. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys travelling, reading, listening to podcasts (specifically Bravo and true crime genres) and wine tasting. |
