Concord Family Network is a volunteer-led nonprofit based in Concord, MA. Our board members have a variety of backgrounds and expertise, and we are always happy to speak to new members about leadership opportunities.

Brian Burkhard, PhD
President
Brian and his wife, Molly, moved to Concord in 2020 and are proud parents to Nora (5) and Paige (2). Brian holds a PhD in child development and is a former school therapist, nonprofit manager, and edtech researcher. He currently leads research and assessment at a national education organization.
Brian loves to play guitar, writes baseball prediction models in his spare time, and his favorite Bedford Farms ice cream flavor is Green Monster.

Leslie Cooper
Clerk
Leslie is a Connecticut transplant and has lived in Concord with her family since 2019. She and her husband have two young boys and two dogs.
She credits CFN with helping her make friends after having her first son in 2021.
She is a Contracting Officer for the Air Force, and is still trying to find a couple hobbies for her free time. Suggestions are welcome!
